AAHA Standards are developed by experts in the field and are updated regularly to help vets and their teams stay on top of the latest medicine and manage their practices well.
Since Heartlake Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited member, you will see signs, flags, plaques, and brochures with the red-and-white AAHA logo. We are proud to have earned this distinction. Even more important, though, you’ll see that your pet receives the very best care!

Welcome to Heartlake Veterinary Hospital
We are proud to be a privately owned family business!
Dr. Yashvir Varma established Heartlake Veterinary Hospital in 1995 in the loving memory of his mother, Jaswanti Devi Varma. Jaswanti taught the family value of love and care with selfless motivation. Her inspiration was instrumental in setting up Heartlake Veterinary Hospital. In 2012, we became the only veterinary hospital in Brampton to be AAHA Accredited (see link above), among only 15% of veterinary practices in the United States and Canada.
Our goal is to offer a highly progressive veterinary hospital that provides the highest quality of medicine and excellent patient care with compassion.
Our veterinary facility is equipped with a surgical suite, digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, and an on-site laboratory. This equipment helps our doctors diagnose and treat most problems as quickly as possible.
We maintain excellent relationships with nearby specialists should your pet need a referral for specialized care.
